Sponsorship terms
These terms govern paid placements on JevDirectory.org. By starting a placement you agree to them. Version 2026-01-01.
In short
- Placements are labelled as sponsored and never change what the directory lists or how entries are ranked.
- Every sponsor keeps a permanent listing on the sponsors page with a do-follow link to their site — the backlink stays after the term ends. This is separate from a directory entry on the resources page.
- You are buying an impression of your own creative in the site slot for a fixed term. It is not an editorial endorsement.
- Every submission is reviewed by a human before it goes live. We can reject or remove anything that breaks these terms.
- Fees are non-refundable once a placement has started serving its term. A placement rejected during review is refunded in full.
- We do not guarantee views, clicks, conversions, or revenue. The bar is shared inventory and results vary.
- Your creative and target link must be accurate, lawful, and point to a working page. No tracking pixels, malware, or misleading claims.
1. What you are buying
A sponsorship is a paid, clearly labelled placement of your text creative in the sticky bar at the bottom of every public page, for the week or month you select at checkout.
The bar is shared: it rotates between the active sponsors, so each gets equal turns for the length of their term. We do not guarantee any particular number of views or impressions, clicks, conversions, sales, or revenue — traffic varies with the directory's readership and the rotation.
2. Review and going live
After payment your order is queued for review. A human checks the creative and the target link before the placement is activated. Review usually happens within a few working days.
We may reject or remove a placement if it is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, infringes someone's rights, or is inconsistent with the directory's purpose. If we reject a placement before it is activated, the placement fee is refunded.
3. Term, expiry, and changes
A placement runs from the moment it is activated until the end of the term you selected, then expires automatically. There is no auto-renewal; you can order again when a term ends.
You can edit the creative and target link from your dashboard. Edits to a live placement are re-reviewed before they take effect.
4. Content rules
No tracking pixels, third-party scripts, or hidden code. The creative is text and a link only.
No malware, phishing, deceptive redirects, adult content, or illegal goods or services. The target link must resolve to the destination you described.
5. Refunds
Placement fees are non-refundable once a placement has started serving its term. If we remove an active placement for a breach of these terms, no refund is due.
The one exception is review: if we reject a placement before it is activated, the fee is refunded in full. Once a placement has served its term, fees are non-refundable.
6. Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to use the company name, text, and link you submit, and that the placement complies with the laws that apply to you and to the people who see it.
You are responsible for the destination page and anything it links to.
7. Limitation of liability
JevDirectory.org is community-run and not affiliated with TypeSafe AI. The service is provided as-is; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a placement.
