Jev Zig

Vercel Labs' Unix-like coding agent CLI written in Zig, shipping a typesafe_permission_reviewer builtin that runs the agent's permission decisions through Jev rather than an LLM call. Model-agnostic and embeddable via libfx and ACP.

jevx is a Zig terminal agent that keeps Codex for code generation and confines Jev, reached through OpenRouter, to bounded choice, noul and score decisions for routing, hazard checks, impact and verification. The Zig side, not the model, holds the permissions and the final control flow.

An unofficial Zig client for TypeSafe's System One API where answer types come from your questions at compile time: Choice returns your own enum, Score returns a fixed-size probability array.
