Jev Chatbot

An AstrBot plugin that asks a decision model whether the bot should speak at all: it screens wake-word and ordinary group messages before interjecting, then re-checks each drafted reply before it is sent, without changing a word of the text.

A customer-service chatbot routed by Jev: one API call per turn asks every question in the decision tree up front and discards the unneeded answers — the docs' speculative fan-out — with a human-handoff Noul and a frustration Score riding along.

A chatbot with no language model: every word is picked from roughly 4,700 options by Jev Choice questions, with confidence-driven lookahead, beam search across sentence directions and a self-critique loop that rewrites weak sentences. Code for the paper and the live demo at talktojev.com.
