Systemone Email Cleaner

A local Go CLI that reads each Gmail message's headers and a short body preview, asks a System One decision model to classify it, applies cleaner/* labels and trashes only genuine junk, with an append-only audit log and rollback.

Highlights

  • Reads headers plus a short body preview and asks a System One decision model to classify each message.
  • Applies cleaner/* labels and moves genuine junk to Trash; nothing is ever permanently deleted.
  • Every action lands in an append-only audit log, and any run can be rolled back.
  • Dry-run prints the plan without writing: go run ./cmd/emailcleaner run --dry-run --limit 50 --workers 2.
  • Needs Go 1.27+, a Google Cloud OAuth desktop client, and a System One endpoint with SYSTEMONE_API_KEY set.

Quickstart

bash
cp config.example.yaml config.yaml
go run ./cmd/emailcleaner setup
go run ./cmd/emailcleaner run --dry-run --limit 50 --workers 2

Watch out

README reviewed 2026-10-17; the captured text stops mid-command, the repository does not state accuracy or how System One backends compare, and Google's OAuth testing-mode tokens expire every 7 days, so the setup step must be rerun that often.
