Archived. A Jev-compatible HTTP server that lets any Jev client run against local Laya weights instead of the TypeSafe API, serving POST /v1/systemone with typed choice, score and noul answers. Upstream laya now ships this natively.

Jev-compatible HTTP server for Laya System One decision models
Repo stats from the GitHub API, cached Oct 2026.Homepage
Jev-compatible HTTP server for Laya System One decision models. Point any Jev client at this server and get typed choice / score / noul answers from local Laya weights instead of the TypeSafe API. Errors use {"error": {"message", "field"}} with Jev status codes (401 bad key, 422 validation, 429 rate limit with a Retry-After header when LAYASERVERATELIMITPERMINUTE > 0, 529 transient overload with a Retry-After header, 500 unexpected backend failure with internals logged server-side).

Watch out
This repository is deprecated and read-only, with no further releases; upstream laya ships Jev-compatible serving natively via pip install "laya[serve]" and the README says to uninstall this package first to avoid a script collision on the same laya-serve binary. The migration table documents real behavioural differences: this repo's GET /healthz becomes GET /health upstream with added loaded, revisions and device fields, GET /v1/models has no equivalent upstream, in-process 429 limiting becomes an admission bound returning 503 so you enforce 429 at the gateway, the fake backend is gone, and the strict caps here become 400/413/422 upstream with plain {"detail": ...} errors instead of the Jev error shape. The most important caveat for anyone still on this version is calibration: Laya computes confidence as 1 - H(p)/log(k) while Jev documents peak-based normalization, so the same probabilities produce different confidence values and thresholds must be fitted against Laya. Compatibility was verified against the docs and laya 0.3.x source, not against a live TypeSafe endpoint. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
