Socai

It does not scrape. socai builds a per-platform ontology of entities, states and flows, then drives your own signed-in Chrome, so the session and social status are yours rather than a fingerprinted bot's. It searches, opens posts, expands comments, reads profiles, OCRs images and transcribes video the way a person would, and it does not publish, like, follow or comment.

Only in the demo, as far as the README documents. Jev Social is a separate local-first repository where Jev chooses bounded socai CLI operations for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. The socai CLI itself exposes structured subcommands per platform and takes no Jev key.

RedNote (Xiaohongshu), X, Douyin, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn, each with search, author or profile lookup, post retrieval and comment expansion; Xiaohongshu adds media OCR and transcription. Filters and the remaining commands live in the user guide's platform command reference, and supported platform counts can differ per capability.

Chrome with remote debugging enabled plus an existing signed-in session. Desktop builds exist for macOS and Windows; the CLI installs to ~/.socai/bin/socai on macOS, and socai integrate install all wires it into Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot. A hosted remote-browser route exists separately as a beta pro capability with session limits.

There are desktop apps for macOS and Windows, or a CLI on macOS installed with curl from the release install.sh. Connect it to Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot and other Agent Skills hosts using socai integrate install all, then check with socai integrate status --json.

Apache-2.0. The portable socai-social-research skill keeps agent-driven research read-only and covers all six supported platforms, giving a safer default than the write operations some platform commands expose.
