Partway

Voice control for macOS from tostechbr that acts partway through your sentence: it asks Jev about every word and gets typed decisions back in about 200 ms, so Notes can open before you finish saying the command. It needs a Jev API key and Apple Silicon.

Highlights

  • README: it asks Jev, TypeSafe's System One model, about every word and gets typed decisions and probabilities, not text, in about 200 ms.
  • Replay demo: with "abre as notas e digita bom dia", Notes opened 0.88 s before the last word; the bar is a real --text run.
  • It opens apps and sites, searches in the front browser, presses ⌘N, and types text; commands chain, as in "abre o terminal e digita ls".
  • Install is a macOS arm64 .dmg; the app is not notarized yet, so the first open needs System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
  • Requires Apple Silicon, macOS 14+ and a Jev API key from console.typesafe.ai; typing and ⌘N need Accessibility permission, and ⏸ or ⌥Space pauses.

Watch out

README reviewed 2026-10-17 and truncated at the end of the trigger-phrase table, so the closing sections were not in the digest. The 200 ms round trip, the 0.88 s head start, and every command are the author's own replays on one Apple Silicon machine, not a benchmark, and the release is not notarized.
