Highlights
- Published on npm under the beta dist-tag; requires Node.js 22.19 or later.
- createJevRunner returns typed Choice, Noul and Score answers and retains raw probabilities.
- Live calls need TYPESAFE_API_KEY; a blank key throws JevError before any request is made.
- provider: "openrouter" posts to OpenRouter's System One path, defaulting to ~typesafe/jev-latest.
- Missing usage or cost stays unknown: cost_usd is null rather than 0.

Run npm install @parcha/agentrun-dsl@beta @parcha/agentrun-jev@beta. The package is published on npm under the beta dist-tag and requires Node.js 22.19 or later, so both the DSL and the Jev adapter come from the same beta channel.
Yes for live calls. createJevRunner throws JevError with code configuration when apiKey is blank or TYPESAFE_API_KEY is unset, and it does so before any request is made. Offline tests can inject a client instead of supplying a key.
Yes. Pass a client object with a systemOne method to createJevRunner; the adapter calls that method instead of the network. The documented offline sample scripts a Noul answer of 0.95 and asserts on it, with no key and no request.
Choice, Noul and Score. A Noul answer is a truth probability from 0 to 1; the DSL converts probabilities of at least 0.5 to true and keeps the probability beside that value. Choice and Score confidence comes from the response.
When a response reports usage.cost it becomes cost_usd; otherwise a configured pricing estimate is used; otherwise cost_usd is null, never 0. A usage carrying cost but no token counts is accepted and returns usage: null rather than invented figures.
createJevRunner accepts timeoutMs as a total budget including retry waits, maxAttempts including the first attempt with a maximum of 10, plus retryBaseMs and retryMaxMs. Requests over about 32 KB of state run in the provider's slower long-context mode.
