Highlights
- Exports TypeSafeDecisionModel, which implements IDecisionModel, and the TypeSafeDecisionConfig type.
- Question types supported are noul yes/no, choice, and score.
- The credential is asked on every call, so a rotating key rotates.
- TYPESAFE_* environment variables are never read; every client option is passed explicitly.
- State and questions are sent to TypeSafe's API; Jev answers with numbers, not text.

Import staticApiKey and TypeSafeDecisionModel, construct the model with a credential such as staticApiKey(process.env.DECISION_API_KEY ?? ''), then await model.decide({ state, questions }) and read the result from r.value.answers.
The digest lists three question types: noul for yes/no answers, choice, and score. Each question carries instructions, and answers come back keyed by the question name you supplied.
The key is requested from the credential on every call, so a rotating key rotates. TYPESAFE_* environment variables are never read, so all client options, including the credential, must be passed explicitly.
The state and the questions you pass to decide are sent to TypeSafe's API. Anything you would not send to that API should not be placed in the state string or the question instructions.
It is LGPL-3.0-only. Versions up to and including v20.9.5 were MIT and stay MIT, and the license change is not retroactive. The repository ships both the LGPL and the GPL-3.0 text it layers permissions onto.
No. Importing the package, or running it behind an HTTP endpoint, does not place your program under the LGPL. The license asks that modifications to this library stay free and that your users can substitute their own build of it.
It exists to satisfy IDecisionModel for @mcp-abap-adt/llm-agent. If you are not using that agent, calling @typesafe-ai/sdk directly, or using another Jev SDK, avoids the extra adapter layer.
