About this project

Orchvia runs Claude Code and Codex agents as a team from your own application, including the Codex CLI already signed in on your machine: one local engine, with TypeScript and Python SDKs. Agents stay warm. Each agent is a long-lived session that keeps its history, so follow-up work reuses it instead of starting over, or forks it to try another direction.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Long-lived sessions that keep native history with open, reuse, fork, compact, pause, resume, and stop operations.
  • SQLite-backed tasks, messages, approvals, and token usage with dependencies, queues, concurrency limits, and file guards.
  • Human or registered-check acceptance plus explicit crash recovery where unknown outcomes wait instead of retrying.

Watch out

Alpha software tested offline on macOS and Linux; real-model runs, sandbox enforcement, Windows, and speed or cost comparisons remain unverified. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
