Highlights

  • Hard rules for blacklist, sanctioned counterparties, and amounts over $500k run before any model call.
  • Jev answers risk level, pattern, freeze probability, and a route that is logged and never executed.
  • Timeouts, 5xx, and 429 degrade to manual review, never to an automatic pass.
  • On 100 author-labeled synthetic events, rules-only accuracy was 68% and the Jev gate was 50%, with zero missed freezes.
  • Route and the composed action agreed on 72% of that set. The README treats the 28% gap as the reason composition stays in code.

Quickstart

bash
mvn spring-boot:run
./demo.sh

Watch out

MIT. Needs JDK 17+. Mock mode runs offline. The calibration set is synthetic and author-labeled. Binds to 127.0.0.1:8080 and is marked demo-only.

1/ Benchmarked TypeSafe's Jev on two public safety corpora. It doesn't generate text, it returns calibrated probabilities you threshold in code. 96.5% on prompt injection, all 662 messages in deepset/prompt-injections. No tuning. 325ms p50.

Terminal dashboard showing 96.5% accuracy on prompt injection and 89.0% pairwise on vulnerable code, with a context ablation and calibration plot.

Screening agent actions with Jev

Tested TypeSafe’s Jev (no-text, probability-only model) as an AI agent safety monitor. Checking each action first worked well caught most attacks with almost no false blocks, and much faster than Gemini.
