Online analysis sends redacted log text and source metadata to TypeSafe over verified HTTPS. It is enabled when you omit --offline and provide TYPESAFE_API_KEY, TYPESAFEAI_API_KEY or TYPESAFE_API_KEY_FILE; offline analysis makes no network requests at all.

No — the Rust runtime uses the Rust Kubernetes client with your kubeconfig, or service-account configuration with --in-cluster. kubectl and Python are only needed for the legacy Python companion, which installs as jevernetes-legacy.

Live mode reports queue pressure and coverage gaps on stderr and saves a final report on SIGINT/SIGTERM or a configured stop. Reports hold a bounded retained window, cumulative counters and usage estimates; exit code 2 means partial coverage, not a crash.
Sunil Sadasivan's project, MIT licensed and inspired by Log Sentinel. Logs are treated as untrusted data, redaction is best effort with streamed private-key suppression, and the README warns to keep reports, kubeconfigs and credentials out of git.
