Jev Is Not Odd

Deliberately absurd npm utility that uses TypeSafe's Jev model through the Vercel AI SDK to decide probabilistically whether a number is not odd (or not even). It needs a Vercel AI Gateway key in AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY.

Highlights

  • Two exports, isNotOdd and isNotEven, send the number to Jev through the Vercel AI SDK and return a boolean: isNotOdd(4) is true and isNotEven(4) is false.
  • Configuration is a .env file with AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY, loaded with a tool like dotenv; the README says the variable must be named exactly that.
  • Published on npm: npm install jev-is-not-odd, and the whole documented usage is one async function.

Quickstart

ts
import 'dotenv/config';
import { isNotOdd, isNotEven } from 'jev-is-not-odd';

const evenResult = await isNotOdd(4);
const oddResult = await isNotEven(4);

Watch out

Grounded on the full README and GitHub metadata reviewed 2026-10-15; the README documents no Jev question types, error handling, tests or licence, and the repo metadata lists no license. The utility is deliberately absurd - it spends a gateway call on parity - so treat it as an example, not a production classifier.
