About this project

.NET tooling for the TypeSafe AI Jev System One model. Jev evaluates typed questions — noul (yes/no), choice (pick an option), and score (rate on a rubric) — against a state and returns structured answers with probability distributions and confidence values. Targets .NET 10, with source-generated JSON throughout for trimming and native AOT compatibility. A user-friendly, AOT-safe .NET client library for the Jev evaluation API (`POST.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • TypeSafe.Client offers typed NoulAnswer, ChoiceAnswer, and ScoreAnswer models with fluent builders and async helpers.
  • Retries 429 and 529 with exponential backoff honoring Retry-After, plus typed TypeSafeApiException helpers.
  • JevMcp exposes evaluate for 1-20 questions, evaluate_batch for up to 50 items, plus free validate_questions.
  • Configures via AddTypeSafeClient and appsettings.json or the TYPESAFE__ApiKey environment variable.

Watch out

Needs a TypeSafe API key and a .NET 10 build; the MCP side only wraps the client and keeps raw scores. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
