About this project

grep for the questions you cannot write as a pattern. Powered by Jev, TypeSafe AI's System One model. It returns a calibrated probability instead of prose, which is what makes reading every function affordable rather than sampling a few. That is demo/ in this repo, so you can run the same line and get the same two hits. The other three queries there bind their parameters and are left alone.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Asks about every chunk, so a full sweep of its own repo covers 819 functions for about half a cent.
  • Default report threshold 0.8 with --json output pipeable to jq for file-line extraction.
  • Answers are cached on disk by content, so re-running over unchanged files costs nothing.
  • Alternate OpenAI-compatible backend reads the yes/no token distribution instead of self-reported confidence.

Watch out

Recall on open-ended questions is unmeasured; the repo tracks a recall-first benchmark as open work. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
