CloJev

Unofficial portable Clojure SDK for TypeSafe System One. It posts state and typed questions to /v1/systemone, lists available models, and returns validated Clojure data with keyword or string answer keys, on a JVM backend or a native Jolt backend.

About this project

CloJev is an independent Clojure SDK for the TypeSafe System One API. CloJev sends state and typed questions to POST /v1/systemone. It also lists available models through GET /v1/models. It returns validated Clojure data. Noul, Choice, and Score question constructors. A default JVM backend based on java.net.http.HttpClient. A native Jolt backend based on jolt-lang/http-client. A portable .cljc core with replaceable transport and platform protocols. See the API reference for all public functions and data shapes.

Highlights

  • Ships Noul, Choice and Score question constructors plus authenticated model discovery via GET /v1/models.
  • Retries with exponential backoff and jitter, honors Retry-After, and normalizes API and transport errors.
  • Portable .cljc core with swappable Transport and Platform protocols; JVM and Jolt backends included.
  • JVM tests run against a local HTTP server with six property-based fuzz tests of 1,000 cases each, no API key needed.

Watch out

Apache-2.0. It is an independent project that TypeSafe does not sponsor or support, and the author advises reviewing API behavior before production use.

Dependency-free Go 1.24+ client for Jev Noul, Choice, and Score questions: ChoiceOf[T] and ScoreOf[L] return the caller's own types and reject labels the question never offered, with validation before sending, retries that honor Retry-After, OpenRouter support, and eleven tested examples.

A pre-release Python framework for predictions on mixed text and tabular data: Jev Noul and Score questions turn text columns into numeric features, then a tabular foundation model such as TabPFN learns from labeled rows in context. Offers hosted and fully local backends.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
