About this project

Point it at a public GitHub pull request, a diff or a file. Jev, TypeSafe's evaluation model, answers a question set drawn from Robert C. Martin's Clean Code for every code file in the change, and Luna writes the review from those answers. It runs on eve and deploys as one Next.js project.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • One Jev evaluate() call per file runs in parallel; a judge turn and a summarize turn share one durable eve session per browser tab.
  • Limits: 24 code files per review, the largest first, 64,000 characters per file read in 16,000-character windows, public GitHub repositories only.
  • A fresh review takes 2 to 8 seconds, a 24-file pull request included, and up to about 60 seconds when Luna is slow.
  • The MCP endpoint is stateless Streamable HTTP with no sign-in; review_pull_request takes a public PR URL and review_pasted_code takes up to 1,000,000 chars.
  • Images, binaries, lockfiles, minified and generated files are skipped, and files that were not judged are returned with a reason.

Quickstart

bash
bun install
bunx eve link --non-interactive --project <your-project> # gateway credential into .env.local
bun run dev
claude mcp add --transport http clean-code-review https://clean-code-review.vercel.app/api/mcp

Watch out

MIT-licensed; needs Bun 1.4, Node.js 24, and a Vercel account for the AI Gateway credential, the hosted deployment rate-limits per client IP with a $15 weekly gateway budget, and verdicts are advice, not permission to merge.
