About this project

Twelve members. Zero qualifications. Your idea. Their problem. Submit a questionable idea to an accountant, a golden retriever, a vampire, a kindergarten teacher, a pirate, an HOA president, an astronaut, three raccoons in a suit, a knight, a chef, a houseplant, and an IT wizard. They vote. They get excited. They get confused. You get a result card and absolutely no useful consensus. Requires Node.js 22 (22.13 or newer) and npm. The Node major is pinned in .nvmrc and package.json.

Highlights

  • One request, 36 independent questions against the same proposal: a Choice vote, a four-level Score and a Noul confusion per member.
  • With no key the app offers four scripted proposals whose demo votes are authored fixtures, labelled in the app and in exports.
  • The inspector exposes returned distributions, confidence, model identifier, token counts and server-measured duration.
  • Captions are authored jokes per character and vote, not generated reasoning, and members never see each other's answers.

Watch out

Demo votes are authored fixtures, not model results, and they are labelled as such in the app, exported cards and copied text; a failed live request never turns into a synthetic vote. The captions are hand-written jokes rather than evidence the model considered a detail, and the room score is a game formula, so it rewards a split vote and scores a unanimous one zero. Live mode sends the submitted proposal to TypeSafe and persists nothing locally, but the provider's own data policies apply. The bundled burst guard is per server instance rather than a global quota, so a public deployment needs platform rate limits and a provider spending limit. An earlier Cloudflare-based build was incompatible with Vercel's Next.js preset; this repository builds directly with Next.js. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
