About this project

Eikos (εἰκός, "the probable") is a family of open typed-decision models, released under MIT. Each model: answers a structured question about a given state in one forward pass; returns a calibrated probability for every option, so a caller can act on confident decisions and escalate the rest.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • One forward pass per structured question with calibrated probabilities for confident action or escalation.
  • Two sizes with bf16, FP8, INT4 and MLX builds, tuned for finance, trading and rulebook cases.
  • Inference library and HTTP server with prefix cache, agent sessions and image-capable requests.
  • Full data pipeline, trainer, quantization and evaluation harness with released data and configs.

Watch out

Headline accuracy and calibration figures come from the authors own harness on shared items; per-build validation and limits live in the model cards. Serving needs a recent vLLM for correct batched results. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
