TypeSafe UI — BunsDev

Unofficial community component workspace for TypeSafe AI projects: a Turborepo and pnpm monorepo with a Next.js component browser, shiki-highlighted source previews and an interactive Lab, built on shadcn base-nova, Base UI primitives, Tailwind v4 and RTL-aware components.

This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is TypeSafe UI — TypeSafeAI.

About this project

Reusable React components and interactive interface patterns for TypeSafe AI projects, built with shadcn/ui, Base UI, and Tailwind CSS. Small parts. Clear interfaces. This is an independent community project under TypeSafeAI, not an official TypeSafe AI component library or SDK. The community organization was created by VC Moderator @BunsDev. Developer guide · Contributing · Agent instructions · Jev Labs · Official API documentation.

Highlights

  • `@workspace/ui` is a private workspace package, not an npm package, so reuse into another app means deliberately porting what you need.
  • Base UI triggers compose through `render` rather than Radix-style `asChild`, and a Button rendered as a link needs `nativeButton={false}`.
  • Lab scenes run on local fixtures, and the README is explicit that a visual live-state indicator is not proof of a Jev API call.
  • There is no root `pnpm test` script, and Playwright checks use local Chrome or bundled Chromium in CI rather than proving a deployed image loads.

Watch out

Independent community project, not an official TypeSafe AI component library or SDK. There is no root `pnpm test` script, source-level checks do not establish that a deployed image loads, and browser automation does not prove complete accessibility. Output in the previews is local fixtures. The shadcn add command rewrites source and the lockfile. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
