Yes. Audits run against a minimum pass threshold, so `jev-seo audit docs/ --min-pass 40 && echo gate_ok` is a usable CI gate, and the gate keys on blocking rules rather than advisory ones. There is also a stdio MCP server exposing the same surface so a coding agent can run the checks itself instead of waiting on CI. It installs from crates.io as a single MIT binary.

It explains per rule. `jev-seo explain R19` prints the rule id, area, severity, whether it is advisory or blocking, an effort estimate, and the fix in one line, which is the fastest way to decide whether a finding deserves work. Severity and effort are the tool's own judgement rather than a third-party score, so treat the ordering as a starting point, not a measurement.

cargo install jev-seo gives a single binary that runs in under 30 MB RAM; jev-seo query runs a search, jev-seo audit scans a docs tree, and jev-seo mcp starts the stdio JSON-RPC 2.0 MCP server. History is kept in a local .jev-seo.db.
