Definition

jev-1.14.0 shipped on Jev Day 2026 as jev-preview, at the same price and default context as 1.13.0: $42 per billion input tokens, output free, 64k per request and 32k per question. TypeSafe describes it as small, subtle improvements to everything rather than a flashy release.

It is the only model that accepts the experimental box question type, and like 1.13.0 it accepts images behind the danger-zone header. The rollout plan has jev-latest moving to 1.14.0 about a week after release, with TypeSafe intending 60 days' warning before 1.13.0 is formally deprecated and 30 days for 1.14.0.
